Rabbi Miriam Senturia
Jewish and Interfaith Rituals with Heart

About Me

I have been creating and officiating Jewish and interfaith weddings, baby naming ceremonies, funerals, memorial services, and unveilings in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years.

I was ordained as a rabbi through the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College.  I have held positions as community rabbi for Jewish and interfaith families who do not belong to a synagogue, including at the Bay Area Jewish Healing Center and as the Community Rabbi of the Greater East Bay.

For the past five years, I have balanced working as a rabbi and spiritual support counselor for a local hospice with creating and officiating rituals.

I enjoy the creative process as well as working with people from diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds.

“Rabbi Miriam, thank you again for your kindness and service above and beyond the call of duty.

The service was absolutely beautiful.  We will forever be grateful.”

“Rabbi Miriam was the perfect fit for our interfaith wedding.  She was an all around gem to work with.

We discussed what kind of wedding we wanted and she did an amazing job of tailoring the ceremony to fit us.

Thanks, Rabbi Miriam, for helping to make our special day the best day of our lives.”
